i reached the 1000-meter mark today!!!!

damn i'm tired! but satisfied, i am ...hehehe, whaddaya know, i swam 1 km today in less than 1 hour, somewhat of an achievement for me! never mind that i was (almost) swimming vertically as i was about to reach 1km, or that i was drowning more than swimming in the last 200-300 meters , wht matters is tht 1km is no biggie anymore...hehehe. So it IS true what they say about human body being able to adapt to changes pretty efficiently, it was just last week that we struggled to complete 600m, today, we struggled just as hard, but managed to reach 1km, not too bad eh....think with a little improvement on my swimming skills and stamina, come monsoon season, i'll join my friends in cherating for a lil' surfing action...'till then, swimming pool, here i come!!!

Saw the Perfect Situation video last nite for the first time, and I cant get it out of head. Then heard it again on the radio..... and now I'm obsessed AGAIN over weezer, after years of ignoring their music... For me, the blue album was ok, but it was pinkerton that turned me into a fan...then it was silence, out came the green album, maladroit etc...but none really seemed to be as good as pinkerton.... Then there's Make Believe.... frankly, I hate Beverly Hills, and didn't really pay much attention to we are all on drugs, but perfect situation...is different....i dunno, somehow it sounds a lot like pinkerton to my ears, and the power of association brings me back to 1996.... *sigh* ..... how i miss the good ol' days....

Still waiting for the day when they'd come and perform live for the malaysian audience.... *sigh* wonder when tht'll be..........
